CMM and Hilco Real Estate publish joint article, "A New Way Forward," sharing insights on
CMM proudly announces the release of a joint article with Hilco Real Estate, "A New Way Forward: A national integrated infrastructure plan will restore and reinvigorate quality of life and economic prosperity within America’s urban centers and rural communities."
Co-written by Mark Coleman and Denny Minano of CMM and David Kirshenbaum of Hilco Real Estate, "A New Way Forward" summarizes the current state of America's infrastructure and presents a blueprint for building better partnerships, between governments and the private sector, toward economic development and environmental restoration.
Drawing from their deep knowledge and industry experience, the authors reflect upon the current Administration's legislative outline for "Rebuilding Infrastructure in America," and provide perspective on public-private partnerships and other models of progressive infrastructure reform.
As discussed in the article, "public-private partnership models focused on integrated infrastructure investments have been deployed with notable success. Adopting the best practices from these models in conjunction with a more forward-thinking regulatory regime can yield a national framework by which America can expedite environmental clean-ups in-step with pragmatic solutions for economic recovery, growth, and development – particularly in communities significantly hit by the economic downturn of the past decade."
